Check out MrOwl.com – a home for everything that interests you!
I love food. I love social media. The possibilities for this combo are endless. I find inspiration everywhere I browse online and am always on the lookout for more communities that inspire me.
I love having a place to save the things I’m inspired by and for the things that I create. I love having a place where I can save it for myself and share it with others.
I just discovered MrOwl – a fun, new FREE technology…that’s a home for everything that interests you.
I created my own profile and branch at MrOwl – “Recipes & Foodie Stuff”. From there I added numerous subtopics. Some of mine are Appetizers, Desserts, Main Meals, Healthy Foods, Breakfast, Breads, Drinks, Crafty Cooking Mama Recipes and I’m sure I’ll be adding more! I’ve been adding some of my favorite recipes from all over the web.
You can add links you find online or documents you have on your devices. You have the option to make subtopics public or private. I could add a subtopic of “Newest Recipes I HAVE To Try” and make it public. I could add a subtopic of “My Personal Recipes”. This could be recipes I have stored on my computer, that I have not shared yet, and create it as a private subtopic.
So, I created a public & private online cookbook of recipes. I have my personal recipes that I know and love, recipes that I’ve tried and recipes I want to try.
It doesn’t just have to be about cooking and recipes though! You can create numerous branches & subtopics about shopping, travel, crafts, techie stuff, fashion, sports, cars, your favorite television shows, pets & animals – whatever gets you going!
As a blogger, social media is important for so many reasons. With the MrOwl community I can help promote my blog by adding my own links while sharing links to other great blogs that will keep followers interested and engaged.
MrOwl users can also “grab” a public subtopic. So if someone loves what you are sharing, they can grab it and add it to their own collection of grabbed branches.
You can add photos as well. Upload your own or you can use photos from the web to curate your links.
You can also easily find all the great content other users are uploading on MrOwl. There’s a simple search feature that will help you find everything and anything. I searched “Indian Food”, “Chocolate”, “John Snow”, “Vegan Food” & “South Carolina Beaches” and found great content. It’s awesome!
You can follow users as you do on most social media platforms. Following a user will keep you up to date with what exciting new content people with similar interests are saving.
I encourage you to check MrOwl out! It’s a new community that’s being built ground up by users like you and me. Share what you love and find more of what you love!
Thanks for stopping by!
