Have you ever shopped at BJ’s Wholesale? Today I’m sharing a FREE 90-Day Trial Membership & a list of my favorite items to stock up & save on!
I often talk about “Pantry Staples”. These are ingredients that every home cook & baker should have on hand at all times. The ingredients that you need to make “everything with” or “make something out of nothing with”.
There are many ingredients that I go thru quickly. I buy these in bulk, not only to stay stocked up, but to save some money as well.
I joined BJ’s Wholesale 4 years ago and have never looked back. The membership pays for itself with what we save on diapers & batteries alone. Oh and shampoo & laundry detergent…but we’re talking food stuff today.
I love BJ’s for it’s low prices, quality, great selection and their store brand. On top of everyday savings, they send me monthly coupon books PLUS they have additional coupons in the store and I can use any manufacturers coupons as well.
I’ve compiled a list, in no particular order, of just a few items that I buy at BJ’s to save time & money.
I bake a lot & I go thru flour quickly. Not only does buying 10 pound bags of flour ensure that I won’t run out constantly, but it saves me some money. BJ’s has a good selection of flour – so you’re sure to find what you need.
I used to always run out of cocoa powder. Not anymore. For as much as I bake, I think I only go thru two of these a year. I love knowing I have all ingredients I need on hand to bake a masterpiece at any given moment 🙂
If you bake a lot of bread – this is a must! This bulk 1 pound of yeast is about the same price of two 3-packs of yeast in the grocery store. Talk about CRAZY savings! The yeast is in two vacuumed sealed 1/2 pound packs. One goes in the pantry and one goes in a sealed container in the fridge after it’s opened.
These come out to be about two for the price of one. I go thru about 4 canisters of baking powder a year – so this is a no-brainer for me.
Sugars & Sweeteners
Large resealable bags ensure that I always have what sweeteners I need on hand. BJ’s has a great selection – I buy my granulated sugar, brown sugar, sugar substitute & agave syrup there!
If you make a lot of frostings & icings then you go thru a lot of powdered sugar. Love the resealable bag and the peace of mind of always having it on hand.
We go thru a TON of tea. We drink it warm, we drink it iced and I brew gallons of kombucha a month. I love BJ’s selection & price of good quality organic teas.
Lots of lunches, snacks & baking occur in this house and peanut butter is often in the mix. These 2-packs of extra large jars of peanut butter save us a ton of time & money.
Pasta, Rice & Grains
I stock up on rice, pasta, quinoa and whatever else they may have in the store. Keeping these ingredients on hand ensures that I rarely have dinner-time ruts.
I’m not going to admit how much sour cream we go thru in my house. Hint – it’s a lot 🙂
See that price?! That’s what I would pay for a container half the size at my local grocery store.
Seasonings, Herbs & Spices
You’ll be surprised how much you save. Sazon, pepper, salts, steak seasoning, dried herbs – I find the best prices at BJ’s.
Raw Organic Apple Cider Vinegar
Apple Cider Vinegar has many uses for health & home. These two bottles cost less than my usual one bottle. Score!
BJ’s always has an extensive selection of cooking oils. I buy olive oil, avocado oil & coconut oil 🙂
Fresh Meats & Cheeses
Lots of fresh meats at great prices and an impressive cheese selection. You’ll be pleasantly surprised!
Condiments, Olives, Pickles, Soy Sauce
Okay, I’ll admit – this list could probably go on FOREVER. I am a loyal BJ’s shopper and seriously recommend everyone to check out the store. Shop, stock up & save!
Seriously. It’s 1 click & no credit card info is needed. You’ll thank me later ♥
Thanks so much for stopping by! Happy Shopping!
