Double Chocolate Chocolate - Chip Cookies

These Double Chocolate Chocolate - Chip Cookies are every Chocolate Lover's Dream! A fudgy, chewy chocolate cookie loaded with chocolate chips.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1 1/2 cups salted butter softened
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips (10 oz bag)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°
  • In a large bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda & salt. Set aside.
  • In a stand mixer (or additional large bowl) beat granulated sugar, brown sugar, and butter until fluffy.
  • Add eggs & vanilla extract, beat until combined.
  • Add in flour mixture. Mix until thoroughly combined.
  • Stir in chocolate chips.
  • Drop cookie dough about 2" apart by rounded tablespoons onto a nonstick cookie sheet. Slightly flatten with a spatula.
  • Bake for 8-10 minutes or until cookies are set. Tops may look glossy but cookie should be set.
  • Let cool for a minute or two on cookie sheet then transfer to wire rack.
  • Cool completely, store covered.

Notes

Recipe makes 5-6 dozen, depending on size.
