Winc, a California-based winery & wine club does just that!
I am SOOOOO excited to partner with Winc – well, because I love wine.
Winc is great for wine newbies & seasoned wine enthusiasts alike. Take Winc’s Palate Profile Quiz to get paired up with wines you enjoy. From there – you taste, rate & Winc will continue to refine & custom match & you with wines you’ll love.
Even if you’re already an experienced wine drinker taking the quiz & reviewing your matches is fun! You can take a look at their recommendations, try what you think you’ll like or browse around & shop for other bottles.
You can choose reds, whites, rosé or a combination. If you don’t like a bottle they send you, they’ll replace it with a bottle you love!
I went went with two of their matches & chose two of my own. I prefer reds, but just for fun I tried two whites. Winc is fun for me – it makes me get out there and try new wines. I tend to be a tried & true kinda gal. I buy the same wines often – so it’s fun to try bottles that are normally not something I’d consider. It’s a fun tasting adventure!
Here’s what I got paired up with:
2017 Rosa Obscura Red Blend – Surprisingly, my favorite. I usually shy away from Red Blends – but this one had so much flavor! Fun & exciting to drink, lightly sweet, with notes of berry & a hint of cocoa. I can’t wait to drink this again – one bottle was not enough!
Alma Libre Sauvignon Blanc – Light, fruity, dry & crisp – super refreshing. I love a Sauvignon Blanc and this one definitely impressed. Tasting notes of lemon & white peach, barely sweet. I would love to serve this chilled on a hot summer day. I would buy this again!
2018 Chop Shop® Cabernet Sauvignon – Loved it! Everything I expect (and hope) from a Cabernet Sauvignon! Full, dry, tones of cherry, blackberry and a tad of pepper & tobacco leaf. I’d love to drink this again & would definitely order it again!
2018 Passarola White Blend – I’ve mentioned before, I tend to reach for red wines. That being said, I enjoyed this wine but wouldn’t order it again – it didn’t have much wow factor for my tastebuds. It was a solid dry white wine, with tastes of peach first and finished with grapefruit.
My overall experience with Winc
I love it! It’s such a fun way to try new, quality wines – plus nothing beats having them delivered to your door! Take a look at your matches, check reviews & tasting notes before ordering.
